  There's something a bit awkward about the whole experience. There's no menu on display in the window so you're left peering into what's usually a busy restaurant feeling conspicuous. The service was little inattentive to start. So, Moon's do perfectly servicable sushi and sashimi. But then it's hard to mess up, isn't it? So is it 'the best in Wollongong' as may people say in their reviews? It's neither here nor there really - it is adequate. The presentation was special but dining on my own I was a bit embarrassed when this humongous decorated bamboo boat was brought out to me. There's competition these days and personally, I like the Japanese in Warrawong better.

  Best sushi for miles! Unfortunately the service staff spend the whole time chatting and ignore their customers, leave you hanging when all you wanna do is order. And like why ask if I'd like some wasabi if you're going to take 10 minutes to bring it over — I've already finished my meal. This isn't just a one time thing. Sushi so good, and the staff are polite and nice enough, but customer service really takes a back seat :(

  Friendly staff and the best sushi in Wollongong made fresh daily. Amazing miso, potato in sweet sauce and vegetable pancake provided for free if you eat in. An institution. If only they were open on weekends!
